I love looking at those lists of 'Best whatever in Every State' to see what they choose for our state. Though it's almost always something in Seattle, this list came about where it talks about the best small town restaurant. That guarantees that Seattle isn't the chosen city for this list. So, who gets the honors?

Well, this particular list gave the best small town restaurant accolades to The Oyster Bar on Chuckanut Drive in wonderful Bow, Washington.

What? Where?!

The town of Bow hosts a population less than 4,000 people located off I-5 between Seattle and Bellingham near Samish Bay. If you happen to find yourself that way, the place to check out, according to Thrillist, is The Oyster Bar on Chuckanut Drive as they may have the best oysters in the world complete wit an awesome view of the bay. If oysters aren't your thing, they also do other seafood and steak.

You can see the rest of the list on who has what and where if you happen to be traveling or if curiosity gets the best of you at the Thrillist website.
