Whitney Houston Back On The Big Screen?

Whitney Houston is headed back to the big screen in a new film but are the people ready for her?  Houston is not new to the big screen as she had rolls in blockbuster films like ‘The Bodyguard’, and the ‘Preachers Wife’.  After her marriage to R&B singer Bobby Brown, her career took a turn for the worst, involved in drugs, domestic violence and a frenzy of media gossip. 

The movie that Houston will be in is a remake of the 1976 film ‘Sparkle’.  If she accepts the role she will star opposite of singer Jordan Sparks and comedian Mike Epps. The movie is about three sisters who form a musical group and document their lives into stardom. If Houston takes on the role this will be her first film since 1997.
