Following Whitney Houston‘s untimely death on Feb. 11, her album ‘Whitney: The Greatest Hits’ has re-entered the Billboard 200 chart at No. 6. According to Nielsen SoundScan, the LP sold 64,000 copies in the U.S. for the week ending on Feb. 12, which only accounts for one day of sales.

The singer reappeared on the chart with five more of her releases, including her 1986 self-titled debut, ‘The Bodyguard’ soundtrack, 1987′s ‘Whitney,’ ‘The Preacher’s Wife’ soundtrack and her last album ‘I Look to You.’ According to Billboard, more Houston albums were purchased in the last week than in all of 2011 and 2012 (prior to her death) combined.

The late singer sold a total of 887,000 downloads in the week following her passing, including 195,000 copies of her 1992 No. 1 single ‘I Will Always Love You.’ The song took the No. 3 position on Billboard’s Digital Songs Chart along with seven of her other hits — ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me),’ ‘Greatest Love Of All,’ ‘How Will I Know,’ ‘I Have Nothing,’ ‘Saving All My Love for You,’ ‘One Moment in Time’ and ‘The Star Spangled Banner.’

Next week will likely show an even bigger increase in sales, as the charts will reflect a full week after her death. Houston was found dead in her room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Saturday, Feb. 11 at the age of 48.
