WIAA Recoginizes Yakama Nation Tribal School Senior As Athlete Of The Week

The Washington interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) announced its athlete of the week winners for week 23 (Feb 4-10). Throughout the school year each week the WIAA recognizes varsity athletes. Who have done a good job in school academically. This award is based on nominations. And these nominations are open to athletic administrator, coaches, fans, and members of the media. And students athletes can win during an academic school year.

For week 23 the WIAA recognizes Yakama Nation Tribal School Senior, Nayha Mills. Who scored 20 points. Grab it six rebounds in a non-league game against Sherman County where they 68 to 23. The Yakama Nation Tribal School is a Class 1B School, Congratulations Nayha!!! Keep up the great work.
