For the past couple of weeks, tribes from across the nation have been heading to the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation to protest the Dakota Access Pipeline. The pipeline is for crude oil, and it would be running along the Missouri River.

Arrests have been made, but most protests have been peaceful since they're being held pretty much in the middle of nowhere. There is a camp that is getting bigger by the day as many tribes arrive, however.

Several celebrities -- including Susan Sarandon, Riley Keough and Shailene Woodley -- have joined the protest, according to msn.com. Celebrities within the Native American community have joined the protest, too, from hip-hop artists Redcloud and Supaman. Comedians JR Redwater and Adrianne Chalepah are there, too.

Today (Aug. 28) Members of the Yakama Nation are heading over to help the protest. A caravan was set to leave at noon. The Yakama Nation has some similar issues with the Columbia River The Lummi Nation has sent a totem pole to bring peace to the protest.

This has been said many times: You can drink water, but you cannot drink oil or money.
