Yakima and Sunnyside to Host ‘Festival In Parking Lot’ This Wednesday and Thursday

There'll be free fun for the whole family this Wednesday and Thursday (Aug. 12-13) as Yakima Neighborhood Health celebrates National Health Center Week.

Gatherings are planned in Yakima and Sunnyside and include activities for kids, free sno-cones and popcorn.

Parents, meantime, can get information about community resources, health coverage, and they can arrange immunizations and health screenings for their children.

Here's the basic schedule:

Sunnyside: Wednesday from 1-4 p.m. at 617 Scoon Road. (KFFM will be broadcasting live from 1-3 p.m.)

Yakima: Thursday from 1-4 p.m. at 12 S. Eighth Street. (KFFM will be broadcasting live from 1-3 p.m.)
