It's a September tradition around the Yakima Valley: the Sunfair Parade. The opening ceremony of the Central Washington State Fair.

And with floats, marching bands, sirens, classic cars and drill teams stretching the length of Yakima Avenue, this year's parade didn't disappoint.

What were the highlights? Different answer for everybody, but in addition to the things in the pictures above, we enjoyed the Seattle Police Department's precision motorcycle drill team:

And we also liked listening to the drum cadences of the valley's marching bands -- like this one from West Valley High School:

Whatever it was, they probably had it at the parade. And if not, hey go check at the fair.
