Yakima has a Subway that Still Offers ‘$5 Footlongs’

"Prices and participation may vary," is a phrase you often hear about and, in Yakima, we experience it from time to time. No matter how many times you hear commercials or see ads on tv for Subway's $5 footlong promotion, many of the local Subway restaurants don't honor it. The truth is, they don't have to. I am happy to say I finally found a Subway in Yakima that does offer $5 footlongs.

The place is the Pit Stop Market & Subway on 5th and Nob Hill.

I was driving back from grabbing food somewhere else when I slipped inside this place just to grab something to drink. To my amazement, not only did they have an arcade game (something I don't see much of anymore) they had a Subway in the back complete with $5 footlong menu and several subs for $6 as well.

I asked if they were the only store in Yakima that still had $5 footlongs. The employees believed they were, but didn't know 100% for sure. I already had food so didn't grab a sandwich this time, but stopped back in the next day.
