The Yakima Pippins Baseball Club will facilitate a new skills camp, to be led by field manager Marcus McKimmy at Yakima County Stadium. The camp will be held July 16-18 during the team's home series against the Corvallis Knights.

The camp is designed for kids age 6 to14 and will run from 9 a.m.-noon each day.
Campers will get a game ticket for the tilt on July 18.

Each day of the camp, specific drills will focus on baseball's fundamentals, centered on hitting, throwing and fielding.
On the final day, campers will be treated to a slip-and-slide pizza party.

Campers can register online at http://www.pippinsbaseballcamps.com or by going to www.pippinsbaseball.com or at the team's office at 12 S. Second St. in the Larson Building downtown. The Pippins are offering an Early Bird discount until April 15 of $75. After that date, the price rises to $99.

The defending East Division champions' 2015 season begins June 5. Season tickets can be purchased by calling 509-575-HITS (4487) and online at www.pippinsbaseball.com.
