Yakima School District Taps Classsified Employees of the Year

The five employees were honored at a reception held on March 11 at Eisenhower High School, in celebration of Classified School Employees Week.

Sixteen of approximately 850 classified employees were nominated by other district employees to receive the distinction of Classified Employee of the Year.  Five of those nominated received the honor and were awarded with a certificate and keepsake engraved star.

The recipients named are:

• Angelea Anderson. Custodian at Whitney Elementary
• Trechell Elliott. Library Secretary at Wilson Middle School
• Nancy Moore. Para-Educator at Eisenhower High School
• Arla Schell. Para-Educator at AC Davis High School
• Zach Semon. Para-Educator at Wilson Middle School
