Yakima Welcomes ‘Walk In Her Shoes’ Event

A 'Walk A Mile In Her Shoes' is happening Friday at Millennium Plaza this Friday at 12pm.

Each year, an ever-increasing number of men, women and their families are joining the Walk a Mile in Her Shoes: The International Men's March to Stop Rape, Sexual Assault & Gender Violence. A Walk a Mile in Her Shoes Event is an opportunity for men to raise awareness in their community about the serious causes, effects and remedies to female violence in the community.

There is NO cost to the event but pledge cards are available to those that want to raise funds for Comprehensive's Victim Services. You can form a team consisting of any number of men, women, family and friends. A limited number of high-heeled shoes are available on a first come, first served basis...
