Our web guru was talking about the fact that the Google street view car was in the Yakima Valley last week and I for one didn't even know such a car existed. I guess the Google street view car is used to map city streets and highways for Google Earth images. I thought all those pictures came from outer space but I guess I was wrong.

Riggs had mentioned he was driving around looking for it but couldn't find it.

I was on my morning commute as I live in Richland and drive up to Yakima each day and wouldn't you know as I was driving along I-82 ... a weird shaped vehicle appeared along the horizon and from afar I couldn't figure what it was until I approached and discovered the Google street view car.

I thought it was some type of pilot car until I saw the giant blue orb on top of the roof.

I snapped some shots as I passed by...better than the usual blown out tires and random road kill...It's like finding a needle in a haystack!
