I was at a local gas station when I noticed someone left their spare change in the coin tray at a local gas station. This is something you would've never seen in the 80s.

It's still a little shocking to see quarters in the change tray as I still use quarters for laundry and parking when I'm in Seattle and to give to my kids for being good -- stuff like that. In the 80s, a quarter meant another round of Donkey Kong or any game in the arcade. To see quarters in these trays hurts my feelings but, on the other hand, I know I can't just reach in and take it as someone might be able to use it.

What a time to be alive -- where the all-valuable quarter is just tossed aside. Insane.
