I was born in Maine and have lived here all my life with no desire to live anywhere else, despite how much I dislike winter. I got into a radio career after being told I had a great voice when announcing the starting lineups for my high school's basketball team. I started at a station in Bangor, Maine, in 1991 and bounced around to a handful of stations before landing in Portland to be a part of the launch of Q97.9 in 1996 where I spent 26 years, the majority of it partnered on the morning show with Lori Voornas. We've spent so much time together now that we're like a bickering married couple that will never part. It works. I'm still pretty much a geeky kid at heart loving sci-fi movies, game shows, video games, and playing competitive pinball around the country. I don't think I'll ever grow up, and Lori doesn't think I will either.
