I love food. I love a good come-up story and I have to say the owner of Meraki Creations is a hustler like no other.

This morning I noticed she has posted she sadly was being forced to close her doors. Why?

Because Meraki Creations is considered a start-up and was only 52 days old when the state went into lockdown due to the pandemic, resources and assistance are limited and are mostly NOT available to her. At this time, she does not know if this is a temporary or permanent closure.

From the moment Angie opened her doors she was so much more than a place to grab a bite to eat. She offered free meals to seniors, balloons for the kids, and once reopening again she continued to give back to the community while updating the menu for take-out options like the fanciest mimosa kits to go!

My first meal was the valley omelet and OMG! I ordered it again and want to keep ordering it so I was bummed when I saw the post this morning she was going to have to shut back down and really didn't know if this time it was for good.

Her daughter has stepped up and created a GoFundMe to help her reopen. She is working diligently with the city to maneuver as everyone is but man if you are searching for a great cause, Angie does a lot for our seniors as well as the community and for sure spreads the kind of light around that we should be lifting up right now.
