With so many businesses in Yakima shutting down, whether it is permanent like the case with Taco Time, or a temporary thing due to unforeseen circumstances like is the case with 1Up Games (who plans to rebuild), we really need to keep with local support, and also to celebrate milestones.

It makes me so excited to hear when a business (especially one in the nerdy biz that I love), has an anniversary. Much like with Elite Gaming Gear and their 10 years in business milestone last September.

Now comes word that two different businesses are due for a cake and party. DoubleTroubleShakesN'More in Selah is celebrating its 3rd anniversary in business at 117 E 3rd Ave in Selah, and Geetaku Market at 2301 W Nob Hill Blvd Suit 3 in Yakima, who has hit its 2-year anniversary!
