For those of you who read my "Timmy Tries" review articles, you may remember that about a month ago, my wife and I were on the hunt for these chips.

I wrote about them in my review of the Doritios: Late Night flavored chips, check that out here.

When my wife was on the lookout for these, she swore it was a type of Doritos, not Lays (which, it could still be, we just haven't found them). So she was thrilled when I found these. I wasn't quite so amused.

TASTE TESTING & REVIEWING LEGAL DISCLAIMER: LAY'S DILL PICKLE CHIPS

Here is the C.Y.A. for my food and drink reviews!

This is no way an advertisement for or against this or any brand of chips and snack foods.

They were purchased with my own money, and I'm not expecting to be reimbursed in any way shape or form for my review.

Taste Test of Lay's Dill Pickle Flavored Chips

Full disclosure, I went into this with a biased. I hate pickles. My wife loves them, and de-pickles every one of my burgers. I went into this taste test, expecting to hate them.

And, I did. But weirdly, not for the pickle taste. The pickle taste was there, but it was an after taste.

The smell of pickles was extremely strong, but the taste that hit me was that of salt and vinegar. Another taste, I do not care for.

2nd Opinion Of Lay's Dill Pickle Flavored Chips

Since the quest for these chips was instigated by my wife, she gets to have her opinion stated.

She liked them much more than I did, but could only taste a hint of pickle. She agreed about the Salt & Vinegar flavor, which is not a popular choice of chip with her.

"I'm disappointed. Needs more pickle! Take these to work!" - Stephanie (the wife)

3rd Opinion Of Lay's Dill Pickle Flavored Chips

I listened to my wife, and brought them to work. Our awesome reception Emily was eager to try them. Her and my wife are kindred spirits when it comes to these chips.

"That's disappointing, I don't taste pickle. I get salt and vinegar, which I love, but bummer, needs more pickle!" - Emily (awesome receptionist).

She seemed to like them more than my wife or I, since she was the only one who didn't tell me that she was done with them.

Final Thoughts: Needs more pickle, unless you're like me and hate pickle, then it doesn't need to exist. But, kudos to Lay's for trying new things. Thank you & keep it up!
