Let's say you're in the mood for both a Cheese Zombie and pizza. That would be a redundant question as you're always in the mood for Cheese Zombies and you're always in the mood for pizza. But have you thought about combining the two? Very few are brave enough to cross that bridge and act upon all ravenous behavior and, fortunately for people in Yakima, a local restaurant has done that where this combination is available every day, not just on select days of the week.

Enter the Zombie Pizza.

What is a Zombie Pizza? I'm glad you didn't ask. To put it simply, it's a Cheeze Zombie but taken to the next level where after the Cheeze Zombie is prepared they then top it with pizza toppings like pizza sauce, cheese, and meat.

Think of it like a slice of pizza like when you were in school but the Cheese Zombie is the crust. It's the best of both worlds!

You can find these at Mama Corie's Kitchen at 114 Staff Sgt Pendelton Way, right behind Second Street Grill. Cheese Zombies and Pizza Zombies are served daily and always with soup, of course. If you don't feel like driving downtown they're also available for food services like door dash as needed.

Mama Corie's Kitchen in downtown Yakima has become quite the spot for food items like this along with house-made treats like cookies, homemade Almond Joy and a lot more. Keep and eye on their Facebook page for more updates.
