When we did our book reading at the Yakima Valley Library this week, they also had arts and crafts available. Don't let anyone fool you -- arts and crafts are for grown-ups, too.

The reading was "Wendy on Wheels Saves the Day," and since it's a book about being a superhero, we made superhero masks. Eli's mom, Amy, as well as Reesha, D-Rez and me, all made masks — along with 107.3 KFFM fans.

Your Yakima public library isn't just about books. They also have CD, DVDs, hands-on activities and plenty of computers with Internet access — all for free, all for you. It's worth your while to get yourself a library card.

We had a blast! Thank you, Yakima Library, for allowing us to come in, read and have fun with everyone. Can't wait to do it again!
