Misty Copeland is a Black History Month legend. It took the American Ballet Theatre 75 whole a$$ years to finally appoint a Black principal ballerina. They got some real nerve. Better late than never, I guess.
As the month comes to a close, here are a few of the highlights from guest speakers at the Black History Month panel presentation at Yakima Valley College on Feb. 27.
