Just days after we first learned that The Flash would race over to Supergirl by March’s end, The CW teased their first official crossover with a vision of Kara in Barry’s “Welcome to Earth-2.” Eagle-eyed viewers also spotted a Legion of Super-Heroes easter egg as well, which tonight’s Supergirl revealed as another connection between the two worlds. What could it mean?

For all the brooding, glowering superheroes about to do battle in late March, Supergirl and The Flash will finally meet on TV, and it looks … dare I say … fun? Imagine that, as Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist pal around the Supergirl set in new photos of the “Worlds Finest” together, laughing it up and cheerfully battling supervillains.

The minds behind CBS’ Supergirl have time and time again downplayed the likelihood of Kara meeting up with Arrow or The Flash, but that hasn’t stopped producers from at least considering the crossover. To wit, The CW and CBS will decide this month if Supergirl might cross over to Barry and Oliver’s world before the current season’s end.

We’re closer than ever to Stephen Colbert’s Late Show debut on September 8, and while George Clooney’s guest appearance gave a marquee head start, the full guest list for Colbert’s full week offers a much clearer view of the new series. Everyone from Jeb Bush to Elon Musk and Amy Schumer will fill out the ranks, with musical guests on deck as well.

No one doubted that Stephen Colbert would put in an appearance on his former Daily Show host’s final hour, but thankfully the future Late Show leader didn’t party too hard afterward. Early Friday, Colbert announced his first Late Show guest for September, none other than the handsomest of handsome, George Clooney.

We've known for some time now that 'The Colbert Report' would say goodbye as Stephen moves on to bigger and better things at CBS' 'Late Show,' but we at last have a departure point. Comedy Central has officially scheduled the last 'Colbert Report' for mid December, but when can we run screaming at the gates to say goodbye?

Whereas CBS' decision to not move forward with 'HIMYM' spinoff 'How I Met Your Dad' proved pretty surprising, the fate of 'Two and a Half Men' was long overdue. The Ashton Kutcher comedy will indeed return for season 12 this fall, though the network finally confirmed that one of Chuck Lorre's flagship vehicles will come to a merciful end with a series finale thereafter.

Much as 2014 shook the late night landscape with Jimmy Fallon's ascension to the 'Tonight Show' throne, 2015 will similarly upend the 'Late Show' as 'Colbert Report' host Stephen Colbert takes over for the retiring David Letterman.
