The 'Ghostbusters' star retweeted a series of racist messages trolls had sent, and Twitter users are looking for change.

When Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters hit theaters over the weekend, a couple of things happened: It did fairly well at the box office — landing in second place just below The Secret Life of Pets — and no one’s childhood was destroyed. A $46 million opening isn’t mind-blowing, but it looks like it will be enough to justify a sequel to the reboot. The big question now is whether or not Feig and the whole cast will return for it.

Jones tweeted that very few — if any — designers were willing to style a look for the 'Ghostbusters' premiere.

Jones offered up photo proof that a collaborative effort between the two is well under way.

'Jimmy Kimmel Live' was host to a spooky union between the two 'Ghostbusters' casts.

"Uh, yeah, they kinda still don’t know I’m not a Scientologist,” she said. "Thanks for blowing my cover, Ellen."

There’s still quite a while to go until the July 15, 2016 release date of Paul Feig’s all-female Ghostbusters reboot, but the fires of fan anticipation must be continually stoked if they’re going to burn strong enough to last through the winter, and the wasteland of pop-cultural apathy that is the month of January...
