Viacom, the folks that own MTV (Music Television) are re-imaging and re-branding MTV for the next generation. MTV right now airs very little music videos and airs shows like Teen Mom and Reality Shows that have nothing to do with music. MTV was founded in 1981 on the premise of music videos playing 24/7 but through the years has abandoned much of it's heritage.
We may have to wait until Christmas to see James Franco and Seth Rogen in 'The Interview,' but the pair are already hard at work making sure that audiences are extremely, perhaps uncomfortably familiar with their characters through a 'Very Special VMA Special.'
