Thunderstorm

I love keeping an eye on the weather in Yakima. We go through our heatwaves, our cold fronts, days where it's raining, weekends where it's snowing, fun to see what to look forward to so you can plan any outdoor plans accordingly. According to the weather, not only is there a chance where it may rain tomorrow, but it's even calling for more thunderstorms...

Though she was quick she was mighty

We asked you to send us whatever you took of the crazy thunderstorm that happened in Yakima on Sunday night. Here's what we got. Great job not getting stuck by lightning, guys and gals!

Just as I was getting ready for bed, my wife pointed out the orange sky. We heard there was a storm brewing and heading north from Oregon. I went outside, instagrammed a picture of the orange sky, then, as I was heading back in, I saw all the lightening from the south, moving our way. That's when, like an idiot, I decided to stay outside and grab some video.
