I've seen the Twin Brook Creamery milk selection at Wray's for the past few months and usually pass on it just by nature of I keep getting the same 2% milk as I always have, but the other day I felt adventurous and grabbed one. I'm so glad I did.
My daughter and I were near a pop machine when she request a drink from said machine. I went to see how much it was and was shocked to see it was still 50 cents.
To me, 50 cents is the perfect price or 12 ounces of liquid goodness. In recent years I've seen 60 cents, 75 cents and even $1 for a can of pop, but this still had pop for 50 cents...
Everyone has their vices. I don't smoke, I don't drink coffee, I stay away from hard alcohol. But one thing I'm pretty fond of is pop from the soda fountains usually found at most gas stations. It's something I call a B.A.P. which stands for Big A$$ Pop.
Baby Joel asked me about the fried chicken in town. Although we don't have many options, my personal favorite comes from, of all places, a supermarket. It's time to get Baby Joel 'Yaklimated' to the fried chicken at Wray's Food Store.
I was doing some shopping at Wray's and this display caught my eye. Not just because it was full of great, regional beer, but because buying them also went to a good cause.
