It was a big -- and loud! -- show at this week's Monday Night Football event.

The biggest thing: that screen at the Orion Theatre, where women packed in to watch the Kansas City Chiefs put a big-time beat-down on the New England Patriots.

The loudest thing: the sound of those women popping 107 purple balloons to find out who'd won a custom purple purse designed by "Scandal" star Kerry Washington.

And the best thing:  It all helped benefit the YWCA's Purple Purse campaign, which continues throughout the month  on behalf of Y programs that help victims of domestic abuse restart their lives.

In the end, Yakima's Sonya Bueno came up with the purse. But after three hours of raffle prizes, massages, nail polish and purple hair extensions (not to mention the usual drink deals and prizes that ALWAYS happen during KFFM's Monday Night Football Madness at the Orion and Mickey's Pub), everybody came up with a great night.

Winner, winner -- chicken dinner!

See you next week -- when the Seahawks are playing!
