Recently I had a conversation with a good friend who is single and in the college stage of life. We were discussing couponing for one and it started my wheels turning on the whole subject of shopping with coupons during college.
This is the first time I have ever shared a picture of what my stockpile actually looks like. Mainly because I don't think it's that impressive...and it's never organized when I think about taking a picture!! So organized or not
So, you've been couponing for awhile now and your cupboards are bursting with the spoils of your conquests. It's thrilling to score a deal and you've been grabbing them with enthusiasm. A growing stockpile means you've been doing your job as a couponer and providing for your family's needs at the lowest possible price. But, when do you say to your stockpile "enough is enough" and know when to cool it on the stash?
You may not know this, but I grew up in the Midwest. I was born in Wisconsin, moved to Minnesota when I was six, moved to Iowa after high school and then three years ago my husband and I moved thousands of miles away from our family to a place called Yakima. Where I grew up Black Friday was serious business and you had to be a careful planner willing to do unthinkable things to get electronics for a steal.
I started my coupon journey a little over a year ago now and I began as an "extreme couponer". Now what does that term mean exactly? I define an extreme couponer as one who gets 4-5 Sunday papers a week, shops at more than 3 stores per week, and spends at least 10 hours per week planning and executing
