Universal has announced they're making a sequel to 'Snow White and the Huntsman,' which means that either the first film was a sneaky success, or that studios are desperate for sequels. Regardless, the 2012 fantasy film's sequel is officially on the way, with plans to release it in 2015.
SNL's fake commercials are often a highlight and last night was no different, casting host Vince Vaughn in an ad for a fake product so ridiculous and so dumb that it kind of impossible for it to not be funny. Everyone, meet the Bathroom Cobra.
Director Michael Bay is currently making the press rounds for the upcoming 'Pain and Gain' and, naturally, he's getting asked about the about-to-shoot 'Transformers 4.' Although Bay has remained mum on details so far, he described the upcoming film in three words that will get fans' imaginations running.
Every 'The Hangover 3' trailer and TV spot so far has sold chaos and only chaos, so it's refreshing that the new (and possibly final) trailer for the trilogy capper lets us know what the movie is actually about. There are few actors as hardworking and reliably great as Leonardo DiCaprio and there are fewer with such discerning taste. After all, not every actor out there has managed to work with James Cameron, Quentin Tarantino, Christopher Nolan, Sam Mendes, Ridley Scott, Steven Spielberg and Martin Scorsese. Filmmakers, audiences and critics alike all seem to love him with equal fervor...which means the news that he's taking a break from acting is enough to make us a little sad.
Hugh Jackman likes to talk. He likes to talk a lot. You can't blame the guy for getting excited about his projects (he does get to play a superhero on a regular basis, after all), but he's getting close to Michael Caine levels of hype-infused bean-spilling. The Jackman "Talking Things Up Tour" continued this week, with the star answering a few questions about the upcoming 'X-Men: Days of Future Past.'
About a week ago, we finally got the rundown on how many 'Avatar' sequels we were going to get. Today, James Cameron has spilled the beans on his longterm plans for the franchise: he's revealed that part four will be a prequel to the first film.
