At this point, any new 'Ghostbusters' movie has been fancasted within an inch of its life. Any actor working today under the age of 40? They've been considered for the 'Ghostbusters' movie. Shoot, there's a chance you were considered to star in the 'Ghostbusters' movie. So, there's no point in going over yet another list of who should star in 'Ghostbusters 3' or whatever it is they're calling it these days. Unless, of course, the person who made that list is Bill Murray. In that case, *in rapt*.
Let's be honest: if you're here, you probably know a lot about the 'Star Wars' movies. But, how much do you really know? Did you know that they're making a new one? You did? Boy, you are good. Well, now you can test your 'Star Wars' knowledge with the first entry in our new video series "You Think You Know Movies?"
As 'Batman vs. Superman' very clearly teases the upcoming 'Justice League' crossover (the subtitle is 'Dawn of Justice' after all), we all sort of assumed that The Rock's long-teased 'Shazam!' movie would fit into that blueprint somehow. Even The Rock himself tweeted the art above of his character, Black Adam, fighting both Shazam and Superman. But, now it seems that 'Shazam!' will be operating independently from the rest of the other DC superheroes at Warner Bros.
Even a movie where two superheroes are fighting against other needs a supervillain. That's where Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor comes into play. Every good villain needs an evil master plan and Lex Luthor is no exception, but what exactly is his nefarious plan? According to a new report, we've got a pretty good idea. SPOILERS AHEAD, obviously.
One of the big cliffhangers teased at the end of 'Guardians of the Galaxy' was the identity of Star-Lord's father. This left me slightly confused in the theater considering Quill's father in the comics - J'son - was widely known and largely uninteresting. But, director James Gunn is going on the record as saying that 'Guardians of the Galaxy 2' will veer from comic book canon and create a new identity for Peter Quill, including a new dad. So, who is Star-Lord's father?
The internet has not been kind to the 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' reboot. This shouldn't be surprising to you, because a) you are on the internet, and b) you have seen the footage from the 'Ninja Turtles' reboot. (True story: during a recent 'Guardians of the Galaxy' screening in New York City, the crowd loudly booed the 'Ninja Turtles' trailer.) But, star Megan Fox has a word for all of those haters. Two words, actually.
We've heard rumors of a 'Planet Hulk' movie since early last year, but everyone from Joss Whedon to Mark Ruffalo have denied those claims. And, here's the thing: they're right (sort of). There won't be a Planet Hulk movie (sort of). But, it's what Whedon, Ruffalo and Marvel aren't telling you about the future of Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that prove there is some truth to the 'Planet Hulk' rumors after all. MAJOR 'AVENGERS 2' SPOILERS AHEAD!
This week has seen over 50 images leak from the 'Star Wars: Episode 7' set showing off new creatures, the Tatooine set and confirming the existence of the Millennium Falcom. This is all highly unusual for a J.J. Abrams movie, where he likes to keep things as secretive as possible and, today, Abrams responded to the many leaks on Twitter with a note from the set.
During a week when everyone is excited over some fairly benign 'Star Wars: Episode 7' set pics (which you can see here and here!), it shouldn't really surprise us that someone reedited the original 'Star Wars' so all the dialogue is in alphabetical order, yet still...
There was a time when we thought 'Sin City 2' would never happen. It's been eight years since the original hit theaters and director Robert Rodriguez, writer Frank Miller and the cast all seemed to have moved on. But, lo and behold, a weird thing happened and 'Sin City 2' actually got made. Today, we've got a new trailer for the long-awaited follow-up.
Netflix announced on Monday some good news for subscribers: they'll be actively working to improve the quality of their movie and TV choices as well as improving their streaming service. The bad news? You'll be paying for it.
