Carving Out Hunger for Northwest Harvest [VIDEO]
Members of the media in Yakima will come together at the 4th Street Theater Saturday (Oct.12) to "Carve Out Hunger" for Northwest Harvest. They will carve or decorate pumpkins. Sheri Bissell, from Northwest Harvest of Yakima, stopped by to let us know that at this event, a little bit can go a long way to help feed families here in the valley
Tickets for the event cost $50.There's a variety of craft beers, ciders and wine -- plus food from local businesses -- for everyone to enjoy. All proceeds are going toward Northwest Harvest, with the emphasis on feeding the kids of the Yakima Valley. The organization is always taking donations of time, funding and food.
