Deandre Brackensick sang ‘Endless Love’ on tonight’s episode of ‘American Idol‘ (March 14), which was a stylistic shift from his reggae turn last week. Looking spiffy in a white suit and his signature curls making a statement, Brackensick chose this song since a Mariah Carey-Luther Vandross version was released in 1994, the year he was born. Mini diva Jessica Sanchez was born in 1995, so she chose ‘Turn the Beat Around’ by Gloria Estefan on tonight’s episode of ‘American Idol,’ where the hopefuls were allowed to perform a song from the year in which they were born. Sanchez is 16-years-young, but she sings like a seasoned diva with years of experience under her belt.

Audience favorite Phillip Phillips had a rough week to say the least. The young guitarist with the endearing voice was rushed to the hospital late last week for kidney stones. But, don’t worry America, that didn’t stop him from making it to his rehearsal to work with guest judges will.i.am and record label executive Jimmy Iovine and blow them both away.

As Lindsay Lohan made clear with her character of Rapunzel on ‘Saturday Night Live‘ this weekend, the next clear edition of Bravo’s ‘Real Housewives‘ series should center around those animated Disney princesses who seem to have it all.

Tonight (Feb. 29) marked the second live performance episode of ‘American Idol‘ Season 11. All the girls performed this evening, with only half able to go through to next week. It was another mixed bag of talent, with country gals and torch singers sharing the stage. We also tried to keep track of how many times Randy Jackson said “Yo” but it was futile.
