Expect to hear new music from Eminem this summer. The Detroit rhymer will executive produce the soundtrack to the upcoming boxing film Southpaw, which hits theaters in July.

Shady Records will release the compilation and feature music inspired by the film. The set’s first single is from Eminem, the DJ Khalil-produced banger “Phenomenal.”

A snippet of the song appears in the new Beats by Dre commercial starring Golden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green (watch it below). Over a charging beat, you can hear Em spit, “Let me self-empower you / When you’re down and they’re trying to clown the f--- out of you / When you feel like you’re running out of fuel / I’ll show you how to use doubter’s fuel / I am phenomenal.”

As for the Southpaw soundtrack, Slim Shady is an expert in crafting music for an inspiring film. In 2002, Shady Records produced the 8 Mile soundtrack, which features Em's Oscar-winning song, “Lose Yourself.”

“We have been involved in developing Southpaw since it’s inception and Eminem has dedicated himself to ensuring that this film captured his passion for the project through his music,” said Shady Records President Paul Rosenberg. "We've assembled a great soundtrack to accompany what's sure to be one of the finest boxing films ever."

Southpaw is directed by Antoine Fuqua (Training Day) and written by Kurt Sutter (Sons of Anarchy). The flick tells the story of Billy "The Great" Hope (played by Jake Gyllenhaal), the reigning light heavyweight boxing champion of the world. He goes through a terrible tragedy and ends up losing custody of his young daughter. After hitting rock bottom, he turns to an unlikely savior at a local gym, Tick Willis (Forest Whitaker), who helps him get back into the ring. With his future on the line, Billy fights the toughest battle of his life as he seek redemption inside and outside of the ring.

The movie also stars 50 Cent and Rita Ora along with boxer Victor Ortiz. Southpaw will open in theaters on July 24.
