How did it get to be Saturday so soon? Only two more days and the 2014 Central Washington State Fair will be history.

Meantime, we gotta MAKE some history.

So no more hesitating. Today's the day we try the Freak Out! We lost our nerve the other day, but not this time.

Come on. How scary could it be?

All right, just in case we back out again, here's what else we can hit today:

  • Draw the Line's performing on the Pacific Power Community Stage at 2 p.m., 5:30 and 8:30.
  • The demolition derby starts at 7 (and again at 10 or so, when we all start trying to get out of the parking lot at the same time).
  • We're taking in the Make It With Wool Style Show starting at 11 a.m. in the Modern Living Building. We might even be there for Joy Froelich's pot holder demonstration at 4 and Peggy Williamson's wire wrap demo at 6.
  • And speaking of threads, horse costumes will be on display this afternoon when the Arabians and Appaloosas step out in the Durand Arena.
  • Finally, we are NOT missing Louie Anderson, who hits the Budweiser Stage at 7:30 p.m.

Full day, sure -- but we gotta fit in as much as we can before it all closes down Sunday night!
