As the purveyor of all things comic books, I was able to grab an exclusive clip of the CW’s new fall season super hero series ”Arrow”!

The weekly series “Arrow” will be based on DC Comic’s Green Arrow character who made his publication debut way back in the 40′s. It happens to be ‘National Revise your Work Schedule Month’!!!

So, what are we supposed to do in honor of this…event?

I’m guessing we, as a nation, are supposed to reevaluate how we spend our time. Don’t get me wrong, as a “work-a-holic” with 3 jobs, I’m not saying filling your day making ends meet is a bad thing. Money is and always will be important, but let’s reevaluate, or revise, our priorities and look at our free time.

For some, free time doesn’t exist or things like spending quality time with friends and family is high on the “To-Do” list. Where is the “me” time? When do you get to take care of yourself? Let’s free-up an hour and get to the gym! There are so many programs and promotions going on to help you get back into shape. It’s not that expensive, it’s not that time consuming, and for most, it’s NOT going to be easy.

Don’t you want your friends and family to lead long, HEALTHY lives? Make quality time with family and friends fun times at the gym…

I’ve never served myself, but almost everyone in my family has…or still is.

My mom and dad both served in the ARMY. My little brother, J.J., did time in the Middle East as a MARINE. Heather, my little sis, is still in the AIR FORCE where my other little brother, Greg, served as well. My cousin, Antone, is still serving in the AIR FORCE as well. Thomas, one of my best friends, was a fire fighter in the NAVY.

'American Idol' Hopeful Phillip Phillips Redeems Himself With Bob Seger's 'We've Got Tonight'

Round three of ‘American Idol‘ tonight (May 16) was definitely the redemption round for Phillip Phillips. Mentor Jimmy Iovine chose Bob Seger’s ‘We’ve Got Tonight’ as way of appeasing Phillips’ female and male fans, and as a way of getting him to sing a melody that shouldn’t be messed with. It turns out, Iovine made a great choice.

Phillips proved that he’s not uncomfortable with a melody with his rendition of ‘We’ve Got Tonight.’ He also proved that he’s smart enough to not mess with Bob Seger. Then, he proved that he can melt hearts by just singing a song the way it’s meant to be sung. He had the audience from the start and hooked the judges by the end.

Randy Jackson said it was Phillips’ best performance on the show ever. He gave both Phillips and Iovine props for the song choice. He said, “It was the perfect song at the perfect time. You had a giant moment.” He went on to say that Phillips showed everyone he can sing a melody and that he is in it to win it for sure.

Jennifer Lopez said what we were all thinking. She complimented Phillips’ performance saying it was like a beautiful lullaby. She said, “There are about 20 million girls who wish you were singing that to them.” Steven Tyler liked the performance so much, his comments had to be bleeped out by the network. What he did manage to get across was that Phillips sang his song with an amazing amount of passion. He told Phillips, “You just nailed it.”

We’re down to the final three contestants on ‘American Idol’ and after tonight’s show, we are no closer to knowing who is going to take this one home. At this point, every one of them is America’s idol.

Jessica Sanchez Proves She May 'Be There' in 'American Idol' Finals With Jackson 5 Cover

‘American Idol‘s series mentor and Interscope Records chief chose the Jackson 5′s ‘I’ll Be There’ for diva Jessica Sanchez on tonight’s (May 16) episode. It was her final performance for the viewing audience’s votes. It was like her second time singing Mariah Carey tonight, since Carey’s cover of this particular song was a huge hit for her.

We heard a bit of a soulful tone during this rendition that we’ve not previously experienced with Sanchez before. The song cycled through a few tempos, and it showcased her ability to go up and down and to play with dynamics. Her tone was so perfect that she did remind us of Michael Jackson. And no, that’s not easy to do.

We don’t mean to sound like haters, but it was another “too good” perf by Sanchez. She earns high marks for her vocals, her ability to slay big note, her technical proficiency and the quality of her voice. But it’s a little boring. We want the flaws.

Randy Jackson concurred. He felt the song lacked “a moment” and the “OH. MY. GOD” factor, which the studio audience disagreed with by hurling boos. Were siding with Randy on this one, folks. It was terrific but it was also a bit of a snooze. Nothing out of the box here.

Joshua Ledet 'Imagines' Himself As The Next 'American Idol'

Before ‘American Idol’ contestant Joshua Ledet ‘Imagine’ by John Lennon for round two, the contestant’s choice, we took a visit to his home town in Louisiana.

The whole town turned out for Ledet’s arrival throwing a crawfish boil, parade, and watching their ‘Idol’ in concert. (Did we mention he sold out the entire arena?) He also took us to church, and not in the kind of way he takes us to church each week on ‘American Idol’ – literally he took us to church.

As we said before, Ledet sang ‘Imagine,’ and we think maybe when he picked that song he was ‘imagining’ himself as the next American Idol. Ledet delivered a pulled back and controlled performance, which is different than we are used to seeing him.

Jennifer Lopez referred to his style as “preaching while singing,” which is appropriate considering he’s the son of a preacher man. “You dig deep into the meaning of a song and that’s special,” continued Lopez, “It takes a different kind of strength.” Randy Jackson called it “Brilliant” while Steven Tyler remarked it was another “Thank God moment” from the singer.

Win or lose, we don’t think Ledet has to worry – there are three music industry moguls who may just be his No. 1 fans!
