Gwyneth Paltrow ‘Helping’ Cameron Diaz With Her Mid-Life Crisis by Banning Sexytime

After splitting from her boyfriend, Yankees’ third baseman Alex Rodriguez, rumors started swirling that Cameron Diaz was going through some sort of mid-life crisis. Thankfully, her best bud Gwyneth Paltrow was there to help put her life back on track — by making it as dull as possible.

Diaz celebrated turning 40 by having a supposed fling with Diddy, but now she’s turned to Paltrow for advice on how to have a more stable, GOOP-friendly existence.

“As I get older, I become happier – because I’m wiser, I know myself better [and] I connect to people better,” Cameron once told Access Hollywood about becoming older. “Look, the alternative to getting older is [being dead]. I feel very fortunate to have a very full, loving, blessed life, so, I’m living it to the fullest.”

But apparently Gwynnie wasn’t having any of that, and has since taken over the reins of Diaz’s life. According to a source, she’s exacted control over “everything from finances to hooking her up with her trainer. She has also forced her to swear off sex for a year, saying men distract her focus.”

Also on the agenda: $90 T-shirts, $425 cleanses and “simple” recipes no mere mortal could ever hope to make. Oh, and maybe a few mom-dancing lessons — which should help repel men and take care of that whole pesky sex issue.
