Meltdowns lead to stress, which can ultimately lead to death. So let's be preventative.

Here are three ways to handle meltdowns at work:

1.)  Use the 10-10-10 breathing method. Breathe in slowly for 10 seconds ... then out for 10 seconds ... and repeat it 10 times.

2.) Stare at something blue. Studies have shown that looking at the color blue, or touching something that's blue, can have a calming effect. The most common thing that is blue happens to be water.

3.) Squeeze between the knuckles of your first two fingers -- your pointer finger and your middle finger. Basically, you use your thumb to push down on the side of your middle finger where it meets your palm.
