I Spend My Lunch Hour on Tuesday Playing Ukulele with the My Dad [VIDEO]

Sometimes you sacrifice your lunch hour to get stuff done. Since you can't just leave work whenever you want (usually), you have to use your lunch time to run to the bank or run home to grab something or even use up your lunch time to get caught up with work. For me, I use my lunch hour every Tuesday to play Ukulele with my dad at Taylor Music.

I'm not very good at ukulele, or at least I don't think so, but you don't have to be good to have fun with any musical instrument.

My dad teaches ukulele at Taylor Music in Yakima so, just for fun, he teaches me a few tricks and techniques and we play for a little bit. Yesterday he pulled out his violin which is his instrument of choice. Just for fun, I decided to record a bit to get some on video and wanted to share that video with you.

Don't think just because you're not a kid anymore that you can't learn something new for yourself, either. Sure, I took piano lessons when I was growing up, but now I'm taking ukulele lessons. There are students of all ages at Taylor Music so, if you have the means are are looking for something new, maybe considering getting into a new musical instrument for yourself. Thanks to YouTube you don't even need to take lessons if you don't want to. There are plenty of tutorials to teach you the basics.
