When Iggy Azalea first hit the red carpet at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards earlier this year, Twitter erupted with observations about her drastically altered appearance. Whispers of extensive plastic surgery began to circulate online, with various media outlets reporting that Iggy (probably) had any number of changes made to her face -- from jaw-shaving to cheek implants to lip fillers and beyond. But according to Iggy, all she got was a nose job.

In an interview with Seventeen magazine, Iggy claimed she'd never denied getting a nose job, because it was the right decision for her: "I’m not denying it. Denying it is lame. I don’t think you should be ashamed if you made a change to yourself, which is why I’ve spoken about the changes I’ve made, like with my breasts."

Iggy's obviously an advocate for plastic surgery -- she owned up to getting breast implants in an interview with Vogue, and later told E! News why she admitted to the surgery in the first place, saying, "I love them so much I had to talk about them."

But Iggy also talks about self-perception in the upcoming issue of Seventeen and advises others to wait on making a permanent change until they're absolutely sure it's what they want: "Your perception of yourself can change a lot over time, so I think it’s important to wait and make sure it’s the right choice. Plastic surgery is an emotional journey. It’s no easy feat to live with your flaws and accept yourself -- and it’s no easy feat to change yourself. Either way you look at it, it’s a tough journey. There are things that I didn’t like about myself that I changed through surgery. There are other things I dislike but I’ve learned to accept. It’s important to remember you can’t change everything. You can never be perfect.”

Do you think Iggy's honesty is refreshing? Do you agree with her conflicting idea that plastic surgery is good and empowering, but you should also learn to embrace your flaws?
