Interview with Mike, the Guy who Dropped his Beer at Downtown Summer Nights

While enjoying something refreshing in the beer garden at Downtown Summer Nights on Thursday, I heard an unmistakable sound. It was a sound that causes many emotions, from laughter to embarrassment to anger and all points in between. I happen to have been right next to someone who accidentally dropped his beer and got it all over himself. I wanted to get his thoughts on the matter.

It could've happened to anyone. Mike said he was attempting to catch his glasses, but he dropped his beer and missed his glasses at the same time.

I offered to get him another beer, but someone beat me to it and grabbed one for his loss.

The good news about Downtown Summer Nights is that, unlike most beer festivals, you're served in plastic cups instead of glass, which can shatter and cause a collective "AWWWW" from those in proximity.

If you have butterfingers, best to have a seat and place your beer on the floor at your feet, for safety's sake.
