Stop the presses! Forget that Rihanna is receiving a Video Vanguard Award or that Future will rock the mic at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards. That’s not important. The big news here is that Kanye West will have four minutes to say whatever is on his mind at the star-studded event.

An insider told TMZ, that MTV honchos are allowing Yeezy to do what he wants on the VMAs stage. He can rap, sing, dance or even just stay silent.

If you are familiar with his past history at the VMAs, then you know that Yeezy isn’t afraid to say what is on his mind. Last year when he won the Video Vanguard Award, the Chicago native announced his presidential run in 2020.

It unclear what West will do onstage but we can assure you that Taylor Swift won't be involved. The pop singer's rep said that she won't be attending the event.

So for now, it could be anyone's guess. West might want to expand on his rant on the streaming wars between TIDAL and Apple Music. Or he might just want to praise his wife, Kim Kardashian, and how her bodacious body continues to crash the internet.

Meanwhile, Rihanna, Future, Nicki Minaj, G-Eazy, Britney Spears, Ty Dolla $ign and Ariana Grande have all been tapped to perform at the MTV VMAs, which will air live from New York's Madison Square Garden at 9PM ET.
