Lady Gaga brought her fame monster to the 2016 Democratic National Convention on Thursday (July 28) where she performed a collection of classic covers as well as her own pop hits at an invite-only delegate concert in Camden, New Jersey.

The pop star opened her exclusive set at Camden Rising with a jazzy rendition of Woody Guthrie's iconic American anthem "This Land Is Your Land."

She covered Neil Young's "Old Man," a triumphant cover of The Beatles' "Come Together" — for which she played the piano — Cher's "Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)," Charlie Chaplin's "Smile" and Edith Piaf's "La Vie en Rose" as the encore.

Gaga also performed a selection of her own singles, including "Bad Romance," "Born This Way" and "You & I."

The New York City-bred singer was introduced by New Jersey senator Cory Booker, who, according to Billboard, hugged Gaga after she came out onstage and called her "a person of extraordinary light that does not cast any shadow."

"She's fighting for all of us, from victims of sexual assault to people suffering with mental health," Booker told the crowd during his introduction. "She speaks to the gospel of love that she's put to a pretty powerful soundtrack."
