If you were dying to see the 'Mad Max: Fury Road' trailer shown on Saturday at Comic-Con 2014, the wait is over: Warner Bros. has released the first official trailer for the film online in all of its insane, violent and explosive glory.

"My name is Mad Max. My world is fire and blood," says Tom Hardy at the beginning of the trailer before the footage cuts to utter insanity. Intense car chases, crazy explosions, tons of fire, and action that is totally out of this world. We saw the first footage from the film at Comic-Con on Saturday, and while most studios hold off releasing teasers and trailers they show off at the Con for months, Warner Bros. smartly put this trailer online as soon as possible.

The film comes from original 'Mad Max' trilogy writer and director George Miller, and stars Hardy as Mad Max, a man on a quest for peace in a post-apocalyptic wasteland following the death of his wife and daughter. Charlize Theron stars as Furiosa, a woman who believes her only hope for survival in this crippling environment is to cross the wasteland to return to her birthplace.

'Mad Max: Fury Road' also stars Nicholas Hoult and original 'Mad Max' film star Hugh Keays-Byrne, and hits theaters on May 15, 2015.
