Nicki Minaj Takes Wig Off, Shows Real Hair

Young Money first lady Nicki Minaj took to Twitter late Tuesday afternoon (March 19) and gave her fans a glimpse of her authentic self — even if she didn’t actually show her face in the image.

Known for rocking some pretty outlandish wigs, Minaj always makes it a point to try and do something different — the more bizarre, the better. On the cover of her ‘Pink Friday’ debut, Minaj rocked an asymmetrical pink bob.

Then in 2011, the ‘High School’ creator donned a Bride of Frankenstein wig on the red carpet for the Grammys. A couple months after, there was the cotton candy pink beehive she wore onstage with Lil Wayne at the Staples Center.

Minaj posted a single TwitPic on Tuesday with the hashtags: #LongHairDontCare #ImaWearItOutWhenItTouchesMyASS and #HangTime.” The image was taken from behind, only showing her dark brown, shoulder-length tresses.

Although her hair looks like it’s in pretty good shape and well on its way to “touching her ass”, Minaj didn’t waste time throwing a platinum blond wig on for the taping of her ‘High School’ video recently.

On Monday, the Young Money team released behind-the-scenes footage of the shoot, where Minaj continues her penchant for standing out in a crowd.
