Comedian, actor and all-around swell guy Paul Rodriguez called me this afternoon to chat for a while. I was looking forward to his call as he's going to be live in Yakima at the Capitol Theatre this Saturday, Nov.1, with the Latin Kings of Comedy tour. We talked about how he's not supposed to be using his pool since California is under orders to conserve water, how 'Ebola' sounds too friendly and his memories of picking apples in Washington state. Here's the entire interview, unedited!

First of all, you can't buy class like that. Instead of his agent calling (as often happens with interviews) he called me personally. He even referred to me as "Mr. Riggs" and said his name and that he was supposed to call. As if I didn't know who he was or recognize his voice! Admittedly, I'm not the best at giving interviews, but he made it easy and we ended up chatting for just over 10 minutes.

You heard some of this on the air, but I wanted to upload the entire, unedited, interview.

Tickets for this Saturday's Latin Kings of Comedy show at the Capitol Theatre are available at the Capitol box office and at Candigurlz.
