It's time to give heavenly hymns a rest — Sia's latest song is angelic-gone-modern.

Sia's "Angel by the Wings," which appears on The Eagle Huntress soundtrack, has dropped, and made a truly celestial impression. The ballad begins with peaceful, undulating falsetto harmonies that are quickly disrupted by atmosphere-piercing cries of "You can do anything!"

"Take an angel by the wings / Time to tell her anything / Ask her for the strength to stay," Sia delivers in characteristically aggressive form.

The Eagle Huntress, for which Star Wars standout Daisy Ridley serves as narrator and executive producer, tells the story of a teenage Mongolian girl who's intent on becoming the first female eagle hunter at the Golden Eagle Festival. For 12 generations, only men have managed spots in the competition.

And "Angel by the Wings" is the latest in a lengthening list of Sia's recent soundtrack contributions. In early November, Lin-Manuel Miranda released Sia's cover of "Satisfied" from Hamilton, which features Miguel and Queen Latifah. A week later, the Bollywood-inspired "Never Give Up" from Lion dropped.
