Sneak Peek Inside the New MOD Pizza in Union Gap

The new MOD Pizza on First Street in Union Gap is set to open Friday (April 29). I was invited to come in and look around and, of course, sample the pizza. How could I say no to that?

This MOD Pizza is set up differently than the one on Nob Hill Boulevard. You're greeted immediately by a wall of sound of the employees welcoming you to the store and, if you've never been to MOD Pizza, you hop in line, order what kind of pizza you want as they put the toppings on in front of you, pop it in their firepit and in just a few moments you not only have a slice of heaven, you have four.

I grabbed some video and a few pics of the new store as well. I love that Yakima sign behind the counter. Very nice touch.

We'll see you there soon! Again, they open at noon Friday, and 100 percent of the pizza sales on opening day are being donated to Children's Village. On top of that, the first 52 people in line get a free pizza! Neat!
