Amy’s beloved father, Mitch Winehouse, established the Amy Winehouse Foundation in her honor after her passing. Mitch is now organizing an A-list tribute concert in honor of the late ‘Back to Black’ chanteuse, with all proceeds going to the charity.

The rumors regarding a possible movie about Amy Winehouse‘s life seem to change daily. Amy’s dad Mitch is responding to some of the misinformation, saying that a biopic about his daughter’s life is still a possibility, but that he never claimed that he wants Lady Gaga to play Amy.

Reg Traviss, the movie director who was singer Amy Winehouse‘s boyfriend at the time of her tragic death, has been deluged with offers to make a biopic about the singer. However, the pain is too acute for him and he has refused the requests.

Winehouse has been a bit over board in the public eye but this time it may have gone a bit far.  Last week Winehouse was order to check into a London treatment program for alcohol.  Her doctors said that if she doesn't stick to it this time she may not be around much longer...
