Wapato School Board gives the OK For School Superintendent To Sue Teachers

This school year starts off with some controversy. Several school districts around the valley had issues with paying teachers. Most of those contracts got resolved so students can get to school on time.

But in the Wapato School District. it's a little different. On Wednesday (Aug 29) the teachers voted to strike. If the issue with paying the teachers wasn't resolved. Then on Friday (Aug 30). There was a meeting at the administration building. Where parents, students, teachers tried to voice their concerns.

The Wapato School District is scheduled to start on September 4th. The School board gave the Ok for the School Superintendent. To sue teachers if they didn't show up to work.
