Washington State in the Top 10 for Best Summer Road Trips

If you're planning a road trip, looks like you're already in one of the best states for it!

Out of all 50 states, Washington state comes in sixth place. Not too shabby!

If you're looking for the best place to take a summer road trip, WalletHub says Oregon, Nevada, Utah, North Carolina and Minnesota round out the top five in that order?

Worst states? Be glad you don't live in Connecticut, Mississippi or Alaska as those are the worst.

I'd still venture to say Washington is better than Oregon for road trips, but location is just a part of what makes these on the list. You also have to account for road condition and safety, lodging and more. Hey! In Oregon you don't have to pay sales tax. Certainly that accounts for something.
