Washington State is Happier Than Most in Recent Study

I love finding out where we stand compared to the rest of the United States. I'm a firm believer that Washington state is the best of all states and finding studies like that only confirm my point. As it turns out, Washington state is on the better side of happiness compared to the others, but we could still do better.

Washington came in 12th place in happiest states in America.

Several factors went into this study including working environment, community and even personal well-being, over all.

Number one belongs to the great state of Utah. What?! As it turns out, being happy with yourself and helping out the community can do wonders. I used to live near Utah and would visit often and they seemed like a happy bunch of folk. Maybe they're onto something. I thought Hawaii would've been first but, as it turns out, it's only fourth place.

Nearing the bottom of the list you'll find a lot of states in the south. Mississippi, Kentucky, Alabama and last place belongs to West Virginia.
